I call my kids monkeys all the time. We are white. Does that matter? Would it matter if it were a black kid? I checked Costco's website and the only "Cuddle With Me" dolls they have are called "Pretty Panda". The white, black & hispanic dolls all have the same name. Which would lead me to believe that the "Little Monkey" dolls also all had the same name. In which case there should be NO controversy. I would bet mags26 is right.
