On Adventures in Self Discovery

Chances are you’re a big fan of SingleMindedWomen.com’s “A Broad Abroad.” Chances are also good you’re chained to the homeland, and perhaps your job.

In fact, “A Broad Bored” may more accurately describe your circumstances.

It’s easy to get into a rut, particularly when the economy is in a funk. After all, should you really be splurging on fashion and travel?

And as far as the job, yawn, shouldn’t you be happy to simply have one?

Snap out of it, single-minded woman! Life doesn’t have to be an all or nothing proposition.

Why not opt for minor updates to your wardrobe? And what’s wrong with a weekend getaway?

Meanwhile, in career matters, it’s always wise to update your skills and add to your knowledge. Even if a career move isn’t on your agenda now, any steps you take to improve yourself will likely pay off later–perhaps with your current employer.

Spring is also a great time to spring into action in terms of physical fitness. Or why not pursue a hobby?

You may not be A Broad Abroad, but you can still make your life an excellent–make that brilliant (hey, we’re London-influenced)–adventure.
