Sex & the Single Woman: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas?
Guys are notorious for not sharing their emotions, but the guy my roommate is interested in seems to be an exception. The more they talk, the more she realizes that he is pretty willing to open up–something that is surprising when you consider that most guys’ hearts are an ocean of secrets, a la Titanic.
Anyway, what inspired me to talk about it now is the fact that they were talking a few days ago and he mentioned how he doesn’t like Christmas. This is fine, but he brought it up in a rather unsubtle manner, making it clear that he wanted her to further investigate the “why” behind that statement–and the “why” is a little heavy.
So how is it that some guys are an open book, while others are locked so tight that even Houdini couldn’t get in? Are we supposed to try and pry these things out of them, or wait for them to come to us?
