Sex & the Single Woman: It’s a Date

What exactly defines a “date?”

I think it’s easier for two strangers to meet, then go out for dinner or drinks or whatever with the intention of maybe dating than for two friends to become “more than friends.” Having been in the friends to more than that position numerous times, I have found that the line can get kind of blurred.

Now I am in a position where I am going to dinner with a good friend, who happens to be single. The idea of us going out was brought up casually, but I can’t say I was surprised. The question of the hour is what exactly I should expect… Is it a date?

We have a tentative time (proposed by him) and the restaurant of choice is not your average burger joint. Hmmm.

I plan on playing it by ear and seeing what happens, but I can’t help but be intrigued by the possibility that maybe we are going out.
