Sex & the Single Woman: Kiss Me, I’m (1/4) Irish
There’s something about St. Patrick’s Day that perfectly ushers in spring. Maybe it’s the green decor everywhere, maybe it’s the fact that Mother Nature somehow always gives us sun and balmy weather on this one day. Maybe it’s the green beer.
No matter the reason, today is a turning point in my campaign toward summer.
Of course an occasion like this calls for a relaxing evening of laziness and socializing. I’m looking forward to partaking in some of my favorite traditions while also mingling with a few leprechauns. Whereas Valentine’s Day seems to be the worst day of the year for single women, I find that St. Patrick’s Day is a perfect time to be unattached. Everyone is happy and there are a few people looking to be kissed . . . but just because they’re Irish, of course.
