Sex & the Single Woman: Magnetic
While out with a group of friends last night, I had one of those weird experiences that lingers in my head long after I come home.
I was dancing with a close guy friend when all of the sudden we both stopped and looked at each other. There was a moment of silence and I felt The Pull.
The Pull, as everyone in the dating world has experienced, is that magical, magnetic, attraction that compels you to kiss someone. It’s the inexplicable force that brings you and him closer together, to that moment right before you kiss.
The catch, of course, is that while we are good friends, we are friends. Only friends. And I’m very sure that he doesn’t see me as being more than a friend either. We didn’t end up kissing, but I could see that he was caught off guard too. So why The Pull?
Is it possible that there is something going on that neither of us knew about?
