Sex & the Single Woman: Miles High
Last night I watched Up in the Air with two of my roommates. I definitely recommend it because the plot and acting were phenomenal and George Clooney is just plain stunning.
But that aside, the movie brings up the debate of marriage and can one truly be happy living single. Having two happily-wed parents, it’s hard to imagine growing old without a husband. The movie emphasizes the joy in sharing one’s greatest memories with another.
I consider myself to be a feminist, so I would like to think that I can be happy without a man. At the same time, the thought of living life without a partner is undeniably sad.
What do you think? Are the unmarried among us truly happy?
