Sex & the Single Woman: Putting a Spring in Your Step

I have a love/hate relationship with running (love marathons, hate training for them) but one thing I will say for it: it makes me feel my best, no doubt. I’ve said before that I feel hottest right after a crazyintense workout, and not just because I’m sweating like a pig. For me, the feeling of being toned (or at least getting there) makes me feel stronger and healthier and, in general, awesome. And when we feel this confident, we radiate.

With chilly days slowly fading into memory, I am embracing the chance to be active outside and have a lot more of those “I feel amazing” moments. I’m trying to expand beyond just running — even power-walking with my dog is another excuse to be outside.

Whatever it is that you do for yourself that gives you that inner glow, work it. Use the spring weather to put a bounce in your step. The greatest beauty secret I’ve learned is to be happy, and the rest will take care of itself.

For those of you who want to start channeling your inner fitness guru, set your goals now. I’m already getting pumped for a marathon (possible marathon and a half!) again in January, but I have a feeling there will be at least one decent-sized race along the way. Any excuse to keep feeling good, right?

How do you plan on embracing spring to make yourself feel great?
