My first serious boyfriend seemed like a great guy—sweet, fun, great kisser—until two months in he told me, “I don’t know if I mentioned this, but I’m bisexual” as he was leaving after a date. 

A week later, he said that maybe we should stop seeing each other, and just be friends, which worked for me…until he asked if my brother was into guys at all.
