SpeedDate.com Wants to Hear Your First Date Disasters!
Every February, our thoughts turn to hearts, flowers and love. Restaurant reservations are booked, rose prices go through the roof, and happy couples everywhere embrace the romance. But what about the rest of us? What happens when your Valentine’s Day is a dud?
Everyone has a dating horror story, and this Valentine’s Day, online dating site SpeedDate.com wants to hear all about it. In fact, your worst dating story could win you a Post V-Day Dream Date with someone new!
This Valentine’s Day, SpeedDate.com is encouraging singles across America to share their dating nightmares. Did your date talk non-stop about his action figure collection? Was the person you met distinctly NOT the person in their online dating profile? Did the date end in drink-throwing drama? Tell SpeedDate.com all about it, and the winning storyteller will receive a dream date excursion of their choice, ranging from a fantastic trip for two to Las Vegas, a romantic day of wine tasting in Napa Valley, or dinner and limo in their hometown (winner’s choice).
So how does it work? SpeedDate.com is the world’s first online speed dating website. Its patented system allows singles to meet each other through 3-minute online speed dates from the comfort of home. In under an hour on SpeedDate, you can meet up to 15 people using live video and instant messaging. Since launching in late 2007, SpeedDate has hosted over 60 million online speed dates, and is one of the fastest-growing online dating platforms in the world. In fact, SpeedDate.com’s co-founder created the service after enduring one too many bad dates.
From now up to February 14, singles can log-on to SpeedDate.com and share their worst, and most hilarious, dating stories. At midnight on February 15th, SpeedDate will select the winner based on their story. The winner will then have 24 hours to “speed date” on the site to find their match for their romantic dream date excursion.
