Style Update: Headbands

By Catherine Cassidy

Gossip GirlHow much time do you give yourself to get ready in the morning? Even if you usually take as much time as needed to fully pull yourself together to take on the world … you know you have your days when you have to get ready QUICK! Whether you didn’t hear your alarm because you so needed that sleep, or you planned it that way, your style doesn’t have to suffer because of your schedule.

Enter HEADBANDS. Your new BFF. It took me a long time to really embrace them, but I now see how they always really just had my best interest at heart. I’ve found they actually help me tame my mane of curly hair and for that I am eternally grateful!

Even more, they add an extra element to an outfit that can be your final touch as an accessory. So, you’re accessorizing WHILE you’re taming your mane. Amazing!

If you’re short on time, there are a few ways you could incorporate a headband into your ‘do:

Holiday Hair Clear Colored Headbands with Gemstones

1) Like Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, wear it slightly behind your hairline (about an inch) with your hair down. (Notice how she coordinates it into her outfit so subtly?)

2) Dress up a ponytail or add an element to an up-do.

3) Wear traditionally, pulling your hair off of your face. This is best with a polished, sleek style.
