Losing her child is a woman's greatest fear. In this sweet, tender film by director Patricia Riggen, a Mexican woman (Kate del Castillo) goes north to Los Angeles to work as a maid. When her mother dies, she must bring her son (Adrian Alonso) across the border. The courageous journey he takes to be by her side will bring tears to your eyes. Ugly Betty's America Ferrera co-stars.
