Matt, Liz and Madeline Logelin Charity Gift Registry
SMW Single Mom’s Parenting Tips & Resources
By Allison O'Connor,  posted 11/12/2008 at 3:40:24 PM

You can understand why, as a single widowed father, giving toys and clothing to orphaned and underprivileged children is near and dear to Matt's heart.

SingleMindedWomen.com and the Matt Logelin family have created this charity gift registry for the My Stuff Bag Foundation, which provides clothing, toys and necessary items for abused, neglected and abandoned children (newborns - 18 yrs.) throughout the United States.

It doesn't take much to put a smile on a the face of a child in need; a simple toy, baseball cap, a new pair of jeans, a favorite book, crayons and a coloring book, a comforting blanket for a baby, even toiletries. Whatever you can give, will be greatly appreciated by Matt, My Stuff Bags Foundation, and all of us here at SingleMindedWomen.com.

We've made it easy for you to give. Please click onto Matt's Charity Gift Registry, here on Amazon.com, for some suggested items.

Wow - I am ACTUALLY the first to post - amazing!!!  I just love Matt's site and I know, based on his endorsement, this must be a great charity!  Can't wait to gift all the adult family members in my life with a great Christmas gift this season as I buy toys and other NEEDS, in their name, for these worthy children - years ago I decided to "give back" to those who need it vs. buying things these family members didn't even "want" in the first place!  Now, everyone gets pictures of my kids, an ornament and a donation made in their name - makes my Dad cry every year!  (The kind of Grandpa YOU will be one day, Matt)  Thanks for sharing Madeline with us!

I am so humbled to even know of this man. What a perfect way for someone, like myself, to contribute to society and actually make a difference. I've long read Matt's blog and have never commented. I've just been happy to read how well he is doing and how well Maddy is thriving. This most recent act of kindness prompted me to say something. I read about all the agencies My Stuff contributes to in my state (Texas) and I am absolutely amazed at where donations are used/needed. I will definitely be sending along as many donations as my budget can handle. I love the idea of the poster above me, who mentioned a photo, an ornament and a card detailing the donation made in that person's name. Fabulous idea! And I must say, I have to steal it....

Thanks Matt for humbling us. You'll never know the lives you've touched.
